Take a trip to Jamaica

Image result for jamaica

The beautiful land of Jamaica is a nice place to go. If you are ever looking for a country to visit for vacation ,where the weather is hot and sunny, this is the place for you.You can visit my two  most favorite place Negril beach, and Dunn's River fall.

Dunn's River Falls  ,one of Jamaica's most famous natural attractions.  Is mostly famous for the waterfalls,Climbing the waterfalls is a popular tourist activity and is often, but not exclusively, performed with the help of tour guides from the park. You can take short breaks for photographs, and /or video recordings . There are also stairs, alongside of the falls, for those who do not want to get wet or are unable to manage the rocky, uneven terrain of the actual waterfall.

Last but not least , Negril Beach ,one of Jamaica's most beautiful stretches of white sand and aqua sea, is just about one hour and fifteen minutes drive from Sir Donald Sagster Airport,in Montego Bay where you have a fair share of restaurants ,and hotels lies. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and if you are not a fan of walking, you can always take a taxi .The taxi are inexpensive and plentiful(always negotiate your fare before riding),and get about seeing the sights.

Jamaica is one of the most interesting place on earth.you can enjoy many things.Such as going out to eat in nice restaurants or,just enjoying the nice sunny land. But the choice is always yours, whether you choose to go to Jamaica or not.

If you’re ever at home, and want to try something different, from your normal fast food preference. You can try an Ackee, and Saltfish dish. Ackee first came to Jamaica in the 1700s where it became the national fruit. Salt Fish and Ackee, or Ackee and Saltfish as some people say, can be eaten anytime, but it is very common to have it for Breakfast, or lunch. It can be accompanied by a wide variety of other local foods .Such as boiled Green Banana, Festival, Yams, Fried Ripe Plantain, Avocado, Hard-dough Bread, and/or Roast Breadfruit.
To make this dish you will first start by washing the Saltfish other known as cod fish in cold water, and then for 1 hour boil in hot water.  You can change the water every 30 minutes. Then after heat the oil in a medium frying pan over medium temperature, and then add the chopped garlic, the thyme, onions, scallions, pepper, and anything else you prefer to give a taste of your liking. Stir the entire mix as needed. Then add the prepare Saltfish to the frying pan, and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring as needed. Add the Ackee to the same frying pan, and simmer for another 2 minutes. After all of this is done, turn off the stove, and enjoy.
This recipe is not really challenging, and if you’re a beginner at cooking, you can still do this dish. But if you’re a person that do not like to try new types of food, this is not for you .This Ackee, and saltfish dish can bring a new flavor, and enjoyment in your life. With just one taste, it can set you up with a life time of great Caribbean food. The choice is  Always yours.
